Aloha! I am from the island of Oahu in the state of Hawaii. I graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from the University of Hawaii. Ever since then, I dreamed of teaching here in Japan, and now my dream has come true! I am so excited to be teaching preschool at OYIS! I also enjoy exploring Japan, traveling to other countries, and dancing hula.

My name is Aaron Chadwick and I teach Physical Education and Health. I am from New Zealand and have taught in a number of countries including a previous stint in Japan as an ESL teacher in Tokushima-ken. I enjoy the outdoors and especially water sports such as surfing and diving. As a teacher I take pleasure in watching students grow and develop. It’s a very rewarding experience. I look forward to teaching your child.

My name is Daniel Gomes and I am from Los Angeles, California. I have been teaching all my life; whether it be math, physics, sports or music. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Music and am currently planning to get my Masters in Music Education. I have lived in Japan for over 8 years and I have loved every minute of it. In my classes, I try to bring out the student’s creativity by giving them the freedom to make original music in every lesson.
