Hello! My name is Helen McPherson and I am the teacher for KA. I grew up in Wales in the UK though I have lived in Manchester, Japan and Thailand since I started working. It is not my first time working in Japan, but it IS the first time I have worked at OYIS and I am thrilled to be here in this friendly and hard-working school. I have a BA in English and a PGCE in Primary Education.

Mabuhay! My name is Maria Sheila Tagpis-Suzuike (Philippines). I am a Licensed Teacher (BSE Physics), Cum Laude; recipient, Academic Excellence Award 1993; with two-year Early Childhood and Primary Education Training; taught kids from pre-school, kindergarten, elementary and high school since 1993; an ESL demonstration teacher in Japan; and received training from the International Baccalaureate Organization (2007 and 2010). As an educator, I worked in the Philippines, the United States of America and Japan.
